FIS360 and Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership Join Forces to Drive Innovation in the Region

In a significant step towards fostering innovation and economic growth in Cumbria, FIS360 is proud to announce its partnership with the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (CLEP) as part of their collaborative efforts under the Cumbria Accelerator: Westmorland and Furness Programme funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund represents a transformative initiative designed to address regional disparities and promote economic development across the United Kingdom. FIS360’s involvement in this endeavour underscores its commitment to driving innovation and commercialisation within the local business landscape.

As a key contributor to the initiative, FIS360 will extend specialised 1-2-1 innovation and commercialisation support to up to 10 companies based in the Furness and Westmorland area. This tailored support aims to empower businesses, giving them the tools and insights necessary to enhance their competitive edge and contribute to the economic vitality of the region.

“Since FIS360 was incorporated over 10 years ago, we have continuously supported the innovative ambitions of Cumbrian businesses. Whilst often unseen at first glance, the region has a strong innovative culture. We are proud to be able to provide our support to such businesses via the CLEP Shared Prosperity Fund.” Frank Allison, CEO of FIS360 Ltd

Building on the success of its previous collaboration with CLEP on the Innovating for Success programme, FIS360 will continue to demonstrate its expertise in delivering innovation advisory support.

The partnership between FIS360 and CLEP reflects a shared vision for driving economic prosperity through innovation. By providing targeted, bespoke support to businesses in the local area, FIS360 aims to catalyse the development of groundbreaking ideas, technologies, and strategies that will shape the future of the region’s economic landscape.
