FIS360 to continue delivering Game Changers

In a major development for UK nuclear innovation, FIS360 has been awarded a five-year contract to continue delivering the Sellafield Game Changers programme. The announcement follows a rigorous bidding process.

Game Changers launched in 2016 with the aim of finding innovative solutions to some of the most complex challenges faced by Sellafield.  The programme has been highly successful in supporting the development of new technologies with the potential to deliver significant improvements in safety, efficiency and sustainability at the site, and across the wider Nuclear Decommissioning Authority estate.

FIS360 has been a key partner in the Sellafield Game Changers programme since its inception, and the company has played a pivotal role in delivering some of its most effective projects.  The Cumbrian-based SME has a proven track record of delivering complex and challenging projects for clients across a range of industries.

The next phase of delivery of Game Changers will continue with a focus on collaboration, identifying promising cross-sector solutions, and attracting additional funding to support technology development. The programme will also benefit significantly from working in partnership with Co-Lab Engineering who will provide support in defining challenges and Innovate UK KTN who will help to promote Game Changers even more widely than before.

Frank Allison, CEO of FIS360 said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to continue developing and delivering the Sellafield Game Changers programme. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we are proud to have played a key role in this important programme over the years.”

Frank added: “We look forward to continuing to work with Sellafield and our partners to drive forward innovation and deliver real value for the UK’s nuclear industry.”
