Placement first for FIS360

A first for FIS360 has been hailed a promising success. The organisation welcomed Rob Cruickshank who spent 9 weeks this summer as our first student placement.

The pilot placement proved a positive experience for both Rob and the business, and it went so well that FIS360 is set to offer further short-term student placements. Rob, from Cumbria, is studying Business Management at Lancaster University.

His initiative helped him secure the placement which has given him more experience of information processing and introduced him to market research, project work and event coordination.

During his weeks with FIS360, Rob made a significant contribution to data management and analytics. Overall success of the placement was such that he will continue working with the team on a part-time basis during his final year. His time with FIS360 sparked his interest in innovation project management and longer-term he hopes to train as a project manager.
